A good ceramic mug from your kitchen is fine if you drink your coffee quickly. But if you're the type to leave your cup and come back 20 minutes later expecting warmth, you need a double-wall vacuum-insulated mug. These keep drinks hot for 3–6 hours versus 20–30 minutes for ceramic.
